Teams give members a shared place for on-call schedules, routing, integrations, and other team settings. A team emoji makes that team easier to recognize throughout Vibe OnCall.

Where to find it: Settings → Your teams → (your team) → General

Choose or change the team emoji

You need the Org admin or Team admin role for that team.

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Your teams, select the team.
3. Open General.
4. Select Team emoji, next to the team name.
5. Pick an emoji, then select Save.

The emoji appears in the team's chip throughout Vibe OnCall, including navigation, team selectors, breadcrumbs, and alert team labels. Members can see the emoji but cannot change it unless they are a Team admin.

Remove the team emoji

1. Open the team's General page.
2. Select the current Team emoji.
3. Select Remove emoji, then select Save.

Without an emoji, the team chip uses the first letter of the team name and its assigned color.

Choose an emoji when creating a team

Org admins can choose an emoji in Settings → Administration → Teams → Create Team. Select Team emoji beside the name field before creating the team.

Good to know: The emoji is stored at the beginning of the team name. Most Vibe OnCall screens separate it from the displayed name, but exports and API responses may include the emoji in the name. It can also affect server-side name search or sorting.
