Overview

Our permission model has two layers:

  1. Organization-level access controls what someone can do across the whole workspace.

    Settings → Administration → Members → Role

    Settings → Administration → Members → Role

  2. Team-level access controls what someone can do inside a specific team.

Settings → Administration → Teams → Select the team > Members > Role

Settings → Administration → Teams → Select the team > Members > Role

This means a person always has an organization role — Admin, Member, Read Only, or a custom role your admins defined — and they may also have a different team role in each team they belong to.

For organization and team navigation, see Global and team pages.
