Alert grouping helps your team reduce alert noise by collecting related alerts before deciding whether to create an incident.

Think of an alert group as a short waiting room. When the first matching alert arrives, Vibranium opens a grouping window for that team. Matching alerts that arrive before the window ends join the same group. When the window closes, Vibranium evaluates the group once and can automatically create one incident from the grouped alerts.

Use alert grouping when one issue commonly creates several similar alerts, such as repeated alerts for the same service, environment, severity, or provider metadata.
