Custom alert actions — the buttons an administrator packages for steps that need a person to decide — can be run from your phone as well as the web. What an action does, who can run one, and how they are built are covered in Custom Alert Actions. This page is about finding and running one on mobile.

Where to find it

On alert detail, in the bottom action bar. That single slot changes shape depending on what the alert offers you:

Muting has not moved anywhere else: the alert card on Home and the long-press menu in Library are unchanged. See Muting an Alert.

Running one

  1. Tap ⋯ → Actions.
  2. Pick the action. Its description, if it has one, appears under the name.
  3. Fill in any fields the action asks for. Fields open already filled in with the defaults your admin set, and a field with a fixed list of choices is a picker — you choose from the admin's list. An action whose required fields are covered by their defaults can be run without touching anything.
  4. Check What this runs — who an email goes to, which channels a message posts in, and the text with the alert values and your input already filled in. A step this alert does not match is shown muted as Skipped: conditions not met; it does not run and never carries a result.
  5. Tap Run action.

The preview refreshes after you finish editing a field, so what you see is what the run will send.
