Push Notifications

When an incident or alert is triggered, you receive a push notification showing ID and Title. Two actions are available from it:

Acknowledge — marks the item as acknowledged without opening the app.
View — opens the detail page in the app.

Where the buttons appear

How you reach them depends on your phone. This catches people out, so it is worth knowing before your first page:

On iPhone there is no visible sign that the buttons exist — touching and holding is the only way to reveal them. This is how iOS works for every app, not something specific to Vibe OnCall.

After you tap Acknowledge

You always get feedback on whether the acknowledge went through:

App open (foreground) — a checkmark animation confirms the acknowledge, the same feedback as acknowledging inside the app.
App in background or closed — a quiet "Alert acknowledged" notification appears and clears itself after a few seconds (no sound).

If something goes wrong you will get one of two notifications, and they mean different things:

Notification	What happened	What to do
Acknowledge failed	The acknowledge definitely did not go through — for example your phone had no connection.	Open the app and acknowledge from the detail page.
Acknowledgement unconfirmed	We could not confirm the result. It may well have worked — most often because the item was already acknowledged, sometimes from another one of your devices.	Open the app and check the current status before acknowledging again.

Both are dismissed automatically once a later acknowledge succeeds.

Notification text follows the app language you chose in Settings (English / Korean / Traditional Chinese).
