Vibe OnCall mobile lets you declare an incident two ways — from scratch, or from an existing alert. Both open a modal that shares the same severity / responders / war-room config, so once you know one you know the other.

Create Incident
Tap the + in any list header to open the Create Incident modal.
- Title (required) — the incident's name.
- Description (required) — what's happening.
- Severity (required) — pick one of your org's levels (Critical → Minimal; labels follow your org's severity preference).
- Responders (optional) — add teams or individuals. The picker has All / Teams / Members tabs and search.
- Create war room channel (optional) — a toggle. If your org runs on Microsoft Teams, turning it on requires picking which Teams team to create the channel in; on Slack it's just the toggle.
Tap Create to declare.
Declare from an alert
Long-press an alert in the list (or tap + on its detail) and choose Declare Incident to open the Create a new incident modal.
- Incident Description (required) — a single field that feeds both the new incident's title and description.
- Status (required) — Open, Acked, or Resolved.
- Severity / Responders / Create war room channel — same as Create Incident above.
Tap Create to escalate the alert into an incident.
After you create
- The new incident opens immediately in its detail view — seeded with what you entered, so there's no loading skeleton.
- It shows on the Home dashboard right away, and in the Library list when you return (the list re-fetches from the server, respecting whichever filter is active).
