The setup steps below are mostly shared across platforms. Where they diverge, follow the section that matches your device.

Device requirements

Vibe OnCall requires iOS 17 or later, or Android 10 or later. On an older device the app does not appear in the store, and an already-installed copy is not offered the update.

Install the app

iOS — Open the App Store, search for Vibe OnCall, tap Get, install.

Android — Open Google Play, search for Vibe OnCall, tap Install.

Sign in

  1. Open the app — you'll see the Welcome screen.
  2. Enter your work email and tap Continue.
  3. The app takes you to your organization's sign-in page — your company's single sign-on (such as Okta or another OpenID Connect provider) or Vibe OnCall's standard sign-in, matching how your organization signs in on the web.
  4. You'll be redirected back into the app once you're signed in.

Onboarding (shared)

After your first login, the app walks you through these setup steps so no critical alert is missed. Each step flows into the next automatically.

  1. Enable biometrics — Face ID / Fingerprint for fast, secure re-entry during incidents.

  2. Enable app notifications — required to receive alerts at all.

  3. Save the OnCall contact — the app saves Vibe OnCall's paging numbers under a single contact named Vibe OnCall: +1 855-780-3813 and +1 848-346-2033 for calls and texts, and +82 2-790-3516 for text pages to Korean (+82) phone numbers. Just confirm the system dialog when prompted; you don't need to type anything in.

    When Vibe OnCall adds a paging number, the app asks you once on the home screen to add it to your saved contact. Tap Add number; on iPhone, choose Add to Existing Contact and pick Vibe OnCall. Until the number is on the contact, a Paging number not added card stays on the home screen as a reminder. If you already added the number yourself, tap I've already added it.
